Module 5: True Transformation in Modern Times — Transfiguring on a Cellular Level (November 11)
This module will be devoted to the revolutionary continuation of Sri Aurobindo’s pioneering work by his consort and spiritual partner, Mirra Alfassa, known as The Mother. After Sri Aurobindo left his body in 1950, she continued to evolve in the living experience of transfiguration, whose mysteries he had opened up with her.
In the late 50s, she plunged into a holy new deliberate awakening of the cells: a revolutionary new process whose challenges and ecstasies she shared with her disciple, Satprem.
Andrew will present in detail the vision behind The Mother’s revolution and what he considers to be the seven crucial experiences of cellular transfiguration that her great journey offers us. He will also share the simple but extremely transformative mantra practice that The Mother used.

About Andrew Harvey
Andrew Harvey is an author, speaker, and founder/director of the Institute of Sacred Activism, an international organization focused on inviting concerned people to take up the challenge of our contemporary global crises by becoming inspired, effective, and practical agents of institutional and systemic change in order to create peace and sustainability.
Andrew has taught at Oxford University, Cornell University, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, the California Institute of Integral Studies, and the University of Creation Spirituality as well as at various spiritual centers throughout the U.S. He was the subject of the 1993 BBC documentary The Making of a Modern Mystic, and appears also in Rumi Turning Ecstatic and The Consciousness of the Christ: Reclaiming Christ for a New Humanity.
